Marten Transport has made an investment to help utilize solar energy in an effort to reduce its carbon footprint and cut unnecessary costs. The solar investment is not limited to just the Marten Transport terminals. Solar panels have been installed on trucks to help maintain battery charge, resulting in saved APU run times and fuel savings.
